Ethiopian coffee sports club came to life when interested group of then called Ethiopia coffee marketing corporation works formed football team in 1975 and played in the lower division  of  Addis Ababa. Soon after the name was changed to “Buna Gebeya” sport club (Coffee marketing) under the management of Ethiopian coffee Marketing Corporation.

In 1984 it has got the next named called Ethiopian coffee sports club Now it is on the way to from the team on broad public   base it so one of the famous club having thousands of supporters in the country their number is increasing every year due to its artistic playing style it has the first number of supporters or funs in the country.
